By extending outward, the beacons remain visible even if the truck’s main lights are hidden by a disabled vehicle or the carrier deck, by moving the lights away from the vehicle’s standard tail lights, the system creates a more distinct visual warning that is harder for “oblivious” drivers to ignore

We are now manufacturing a 6 ft 3 in extending light bar for smaller emergency support vehicles. It is 10 ft 3 in when extended

About Out There Lights

Our Story

I have been involved with Rollback Tow Trucks for 35 years and know first hand how dangerous they are. While the deck is in the loading position, the truck taillights are hidden and quite often the vehicle you are loading hides the emergency lights on top of your truck. After reading about all the accidents involving Tow Trucks recently I knew someone had to come up with a solution so I began designing and building an extending light bar that moves your lights outward where they can be seen by traffic.

How it works

Don't Take Chances With Your Safety

In the U.S. there are two roadside responders struck every day and one killed every 6 days. Our extending light bar moves your emergency lights out where they can be seen by approaching motorists. By moving them away from the rest of the lights on your vehicle they stand out more and are seen more easily

Our 84 inch standard light bar starts at 4990.00 canadian
